Purpose

Georgia Institute of Technology chapter of National Society of Black Engineers is deeply invested in its community, both locally and abroad. Last year the country of Haiti was ravage by an earthquake. Hundred of thousands of Haitians were lost that day. Many young Haitians are involved in NSBE. Foundation of the World Angels For Haiti Program is working with GTSBE to provide students the opportunity to help the people of Haiti through a mission trip.

The students will travel from Atlanta, Georgia to Port au Prince, Haiti on May 10, 2011. The students will return May 14, 2011. They will spend two days volunteering and helping the people of Haiti. Then the students will spend one day learning about the history and the natural beauty of Haiti.
