Welcome to our Event Blog!

Hello and welcome to Georga Tech Society of Black Engineers Charity Gala blog! Here you will find information about our trip, the chairty gala, and much more.

Our hope is that through this gala, the Georgia Tech Chapter of NSBE can not only raise funds to send students to help revitalize the country, but to also continue to raise awareness of the plight of the people of Haiti. With a Mardi Gras themed cocktail reception in one of Atlanta’s most upscale venues, attendants will not only enjoy the great atmosphere but also serve a great cause. The gala, “Unmasking the Face of Unity,” will take place on Saturday, April 16th at 7:00 PM at the W Buckhead in Atlanta, GA.

The Georgia Tech Society of Black Engineers is one of the most renowned chapters in the National Society of Black Engineers. Founded in 1976, the chapter has been a beacon on the campus of Georgia Tech, providing programs and resources to help African American students in the STEM fields. Today, we have been continuing on with that tradition and hope that through this successful event we can begin a new international initiative.
